Artists in Residence | From Bricks to Tiles

29 October 2025 - Artists in Residence | Visit Royal Delft Museum from November 3 to 14 The creative process begins on November 3, when six international street artists will work live in a specially designed temporary studio within the museum. Until November 14, visitors to the Royal Delft Museum are warmly invited to watch the magic unfold—from the first sketch to the final brushstroke. With a bit of luck, you might even see the artists at work during this period. During their residency, the artists draw inspiration from the centuries-old craft of Delft Blue, which they reinterpret in their own unique way into contemporary, expressive artworks. The interplay between tradition and modern street art promises a unique cross-pollination, where the past and the present meet in color, form, and creativity. Curious about the results? The completed works will later become part of a new exhibition at Royal Delft. Visit between November 3 and 14 and experience the creation of modern art born from an age-old tradition.
