With the Mazzo Blue Collection, Royal Delft and designer Arian Brekveld celebrate the timeless beauty of flowers. This remarkable collection of Delft Blue design vases was first presented in 2024 in the international design capital of Milan. The name Mazzo Blue refers to the Italian word mazzo, meaning bouquet, a poetic nod to the inspiration behind the collection.

Sculptural elegance in ceramics

The collection consists of three carefully crafted vase sizes. The organic contours of the neck are inspired by the lines of flower petals, giving each vase a sculptural character. Within the collection, there are variants with two, three, or four petals. The four-petal vases are made up of two parts: a clean designed base and ceramic petals that are placed on top. This composition evokes the image of a richly filled vase, a work of art on its own. While the vases make a strong aesthetic statement without flowers, they are also suitable for holding bouquets. The ceramic petal elegantly supports the bouquet, allowing vase and flowers to form a unified whole.

This fully white vase features two graceful petals and is handcrafted in the atelier in Delft. This vase is especially striking when combined with the three- and four-petal vases. Each vase in the Mazzo Blue Collection is handmade, making every piece unique.
