With The Mazzo Blue Collection, Royal Delft, together with designer Arian Brekveld, celebrates the beauty of flowers. With the introduction of this vases collection in the middle of the Italian designcapital Milan, the appropriate name for this collection was also created: Mazzo Blue, an allusion to the translation of the word bouquet in Italian. Mazzo Blue is a dynamic mix and match collection. The basis is laid by three different sizes of ceramic vases. The contours of the neck of each vase are organically designed and inspired by the graphic lines of flower petals. The series includes forms with two, three or four leaves. The latter vases each consist of two parts. The basis is always a soberly designed vase in which the ceramic calyxes are placed, which can be placed on the vase, as it were, like a flower calyx. This combination evokes the image of a richly filled vase. The flowery decoration on the vases is the work of the master painters of Royal Delft. This excellent hand painting enhances the image of a full vase. And for those who like to buy flowers… the vases are suitable for bouquets, which will be beautifully carried by the ceramic calyx.
Royal Delft and designer Arian Brekveld have a long history together. Ceramics occupy a prominent place within his varied work.
