This grand ceramic tableau by Mexican artist Claudio Limon is part of Urban Blue – From Bricks to Tiles, a groundbreaking project in which street art and Delft Blue come together. In 2025/2026, six international street artists created exceptional artworks during two Artist in Residence periods, in close collaboration with the craftsmen and designers of Royal Delft.
Claudio Limon
Mexican artist Claudio Limon (Jalisco, 1979) presents a grand ceramic tableau composed of 360 hand-painted tiles in various shades of blue. The piece features a richly decorated frame with flowers and imaginative forms. At the center is a banner with the text: “Imagine if everyone liked each other, how beautiful would that be.” Signed by the artist in the lower right of the central panel, this is an exclusive artwork and one of a kind.
Claudio Limon is known for his large-scale murals, which can be found worldwide, including in Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and Mexico City. In the latter city, he created one of the largest tile mosaics in Mexico, covering an area of 1,765 square meters.
Joy and cultural identity lie at the heart of his work. His expressive style combines Mexican traditions with contemporary pop culture, resulting in dynamic compositions that bridge past and present, always with the same goal: to bring a smile to your face. More about Claudio
