Plate "Chance"
The Diskus collection was designed in 2007 in collaboration with Nicole van Schouwenburg of Skylla. The collection consists of different plates, each with a different proposition up for discussion. These plates are an invitation to spark interesting discussions and conversation with family and friends over dinner.
The text on the plate says:
I’m sure it’s no coincidence that we’re sitting at this table together. Some things cannot be mere chance; everybody has got an example of this. On the other hand I think it’s nonsense to say chance doesn’t exist. I mean what’s the chance that nothing ever happens by chance.
