From January 18 to 22, Royal Delft presented itself at Maison et Objet, with an extensive collection of Dutch Design.

During this international trade fair we highlight our latest objects and collections, including the stunning Black and White Reflection Series, the expansion of the Moooi collection with the Black Edition and the new addition to the successful Astonia collection. In addition, a sneak peak of our yet to be introduced brand new tableware will be shown at this fair for the first time.

Royal Delft is known for its prominent collaborations with Moooi, Henk Schiffmacher and Dutch designers such as Arian Brekveld. These collaborations and a number of iconic objects from Royal Delft will be further highlighted during Maison et Objet.

Maison et Objet in Paris is a renowned trade fair that presents the latest in design and interior decoration. The event features a varied range of collections and objects, including exclusive examples of upcoming trends. It serves as a prominent platform for industry professionals to discover and connect with innovative designs.

ICONIC | Royal Delft

The outstanding historic designs of the Iconic collection have made Delft Blue and the Royal Delft brand world-famous. The pieces are engraved in our collective memory and do hour their name: Iconic. The flower pyramid is one of the well-known objects. The imposing flower pyramids are made to the example of the late 17th century (royal) pyramids. Over 300 years after the first vases were developed in Delft the blue and white flower pyramid is a famous national icon with royal allure.

Black and White Reflection Series | Royal Delft

Expected in February 2024

The Black and White Reflection Series shows a new way of decorating applied by Royal Delft. The objects are finished with a powerful ton sur ton reflection effect in black and white, showing the traditional and well-known flora and fauna decoration style. The selection of objects in this series comes from the BlueD1653 collection designed by the Dutch Designer Arian Brekveld and the Proud Mary Collection by Dutch Designers Koens & Middelkoop.

MOOOI x Royal Delft 

MOOOI x Royal Delft proudly introduces the Black Edition especially made for three selected items from the MOOOI x Royal Delft collection: The killing of the Piggy Bank, The Rabbit and Vase Model 6. This collection relates to the Black and White Reflection Series of Royal Delft and stands out with its golden details and powerful ton sur ton reflection effects. Other eye-catching items within this collection inlcude the hand-painted Blow Away Vase, and the new decorative tiles from the Extinct Animals collection.

Henk Schiffmacher x Royal Delft

In 2019 Royal Delft presented the first ‘ROYAL BLUE TATTOO’ collection together with Dutch famous tattoo artist Henk Schiffmacher. Connected by a love for craft and ink, a successful collection is created. The latest novelty is The Royal Dragons series. The set of 3 decorative wall plates is tribute to the year of the dragon in 2024.

Proud Mary | Koens & Middelkoop

Proud Mary is named after Mary II, the wife of Stadtholder William III, who was a great enthusiast and collector of Delft Blue during the Golden Age. This stylish figurine has emerged from the desire to give the iconic Delft Blue from Royal Delft a contemporary look. The collection consists of large, hand-painted versions and smaller variants decorated with the transfer technique. Proud Mary is a collectible that represent the craft of Royal Delft.

Collar Bottles & Bowls | Arian Brekveld

This range started in 2012 as a minimalistic response to the richly ornamented hand-painted collection of Royal Delft. As time goes by adding this hand-painted ornament to a modern shape gives best of both worlds.

Astonia Collectie | Royal Delft

Expected in February 2024

For this collection the Royal Delft designers were inspired by the beautiful decoration created by the De Drie Postleyne Astonne pottery factory around 1695. The decoration is characterized by Asian influences from almost a cartoonish perspective and made in beautiful blue on white.

The Wool Studio x Royal Royal Delft

From 17th-century decorative plates to 21st-century rugs, the hand-tufted rugs are designed in traditional forms with the recognizable and iconic patterns of Royal Delft. The Wool Studio owes its name to the use of these natural materials in all its collections. The traditional forms of Royal Delft wall plates have been translated into the rugs. For example, the graceful corners of the applique shape are visible in the Royal Delft Flower Bed rug. The highlight of this collection is the Royal Polychrome Birds Special Edition. This colorful rug is a true eye-catcher, whether on the floor or hanging on the wall.
