A cupboard set (translated kaststel in Dutch) is a matched set of vases intended for display on top of, or in, a wooded cupboard, cabinet or bookcase. The English term garniture(derived from the French) is also used to mean a cupboard set. The meaning of garniture underscores their decorative nature. A set is usually made up of one covered vase and two beaker vases. In Holland these are usually displayed on top of the cupboard.
