Proud Mary Flower Ltd.

Proud Mary is named after Mary II, the wife of Stadtholder William III and a great admirer and collector of Delft Blue during the Dutch Golden Age. This stylish figurine was created out of a desire to give Royal Delft’s iconic Delft Blue a contemporary look. The design consists of four interchangeable elements: the skirt, the body, the collar, and the head. The design was created by Dutch designers Koens & Middelkoop, while the decoration was designed by the artists and master painters of Royal Delft.

Inspired by the 17th century and driven by the desire to give the Delft Blue that Royal Delft has created since the 17th century a contemporary look & feel, Royal Delft presents: Proud Mary. Proud Mary is composed of four seperate elements, the skirt, body, the collar and the head. These larger Mary's are handpainted by the craftsmen at Royal Delft. This one has a classic floral decoration.
