In the past, guests at dinnerparties tried to avoid the indiscreet looks of the service staff in all possible ways. That is why they used a table bell during the meal. To call the service staff when the table had to be cleared or served again, the lady of the house used a little bell.
This Delft Blue table bell can be used for actual use or for decoration. The drawing comes from one of our master painters and applied by transfer technique. A unique piece of Delft Blue with a great story behind it.
