In the thirties of the eighteenth century no fewer than ten types were launched in Delft. According to the fashion of that time, cupboards were placed on the overhanging hood of a cabinet. This Delft Blue cabinet set with richly decorated floral designs and the famous peacock from Royal Delft was hand painted by one of our master painters.
