Wall Panel Round | Coralbell GoldRe-Framed | Wall Panels is a beautiful series of ceramic wall panels. With this series, Royal Delft redefines the traditional wall plate. This project combines heritage with contemporary art; featuring designs by both our own master painters and external artists and designers. For the debut of this collection, the honor goes to designer Bert Timmermans of Workingbert. In this collaboration, Workingbert offers a contemporary take on floral and leaf motifs. The result: beautiful ceramic wall panels featuring Workingbert’s signature floral prints, executed in color palettes that pay homage to Royal Delft’s iconic Delft Blue since the 17th century and create a link to the architectural ceramics period of Royal Delft in the early 1900s. More Re-framed | Wall Panels The Re-framed Wall Panels are produced in a limited edition. Only 150 pieces of each item in the collection will be made.
Re-Framed | Wall Panels redefines the role of ceramics in interior design. The collection presents decorative ceramic panels as contemporary art objects for walls, focusing on composition, pattern, and material. Traditional craftsmanship is combined with a modern approach to space and architecture. The result is a refined application of ceramics that gives an interior character, depth, and a strong visual accent.

De Porceleyne Fles in Delft
Centuries-old craftsmanship lives on in De Porceleyne Fles. The screen printing technique, with its origins in eighteenth-century England, is still an essential part of the decorating process. Here, heritage, precision and craft come together in every ceramic object.
Even when the screen printing technique is used, the hand of the Royal Delft master painter is still part of the design. The first design is put on paper with a brush, using the same black paint. Once a final design has been made, it is sent to the printer. The printer scans it digitally and then turns it into a screen print.
This is divided into four separate layers for the four different shades of blue. It is then printed onto plastic films, and the films are exposed onto a screen printing frame. In this way the design transfers from the film to the frame. This is done four times for the different shades of blue, after which a carrier layer is added on top. That carrier holds the entire design together.
The transfer is then applied to the glazed product, after which it fuses with the glaze layer during the second firing.
