About Saturday Vase Flower
The thickened upper rim of this large vase features a relief of foliage alongside four satyr heads, which is why it is called a satyr vase. The model was produced in the twentieth century, but its form and decoration are a blend of influences from traditional Delft Blue earthenware of previous centuries.
