A ship sails pass a traditional Dutch windmill on this 25 cm plate. The rim is a typical floral decoration commonly used on Delft Blue plates.
Each piece is unique. The painters create the landscape decorations freehand, without a template. The images on the plates are therefore never exactly the same.
