Plate "Eten"
The Diskus collection was designed in 2007 in collaboration with Nicole van Schouwenburg of Skylla. The collection consists of eight different boards, each with a different proposition up for discussion. These plates are an invitation to spark interesting discussions and conversation with family and friends over dinner.
The text on the plate says (in Dutch):
For me food is the best life has to offer, I eat so live. If I ask you what is the best thing you have ever eaten, I am sure you felt very alive at that time, with all senses awake. In love, proud after a presentation, or safe after a challenge. The dish itself does not really matter.
