Clock Small

In addition to the world-famous Delft Blue, the master painters at Royal Delft also create the multicolored polychrome collection. This decorative style is inspired by colors used in the Mediterranean region, and it is these colors that give the earthenware its typical character. In the period when clocks were very valuable, there was a round opening where the clockwork is now, in which a pocket watch could be placed. Thus, the decorative object was temporarily transformed into a functional clock. The contemporary, extremely elegant clock is decorated with flowers and also features the characteristic Royal Delft bird. The hour markers are represented by small straight lines, matching the slender hands. The pendulum is clearly visible through the cutout in the ceramic.
