Human Resource Management Intern
Internship for 32-38 hours per week (minimum of 5 months)
Who hasn't heard of Delft Blue: the iconic vases, plates, tiles, and other design pieces? Even better is that Royal Delft has been producing them since 1653. Not only traditional pieces, but also successful, innovative Dutch Design objects like Proud Mary. In recent years, Royal Delft has become known for special collaborations with, among others, Supreme®, the Johan Cruyff Arena, and Henk Schiffmacher. We have been growing ever since, and for that reason, we are offering you a challenging and independent position within an informal working atmosphere!
What will your working environment be like?
Are you looking for a challenging internship for your development into an HR professional within a dynamic environment, with plenty of room for your own ideas and input? You will be challenged to take a critical look at current HRM processes, share your thoughts, and propose ideas. The HR department at Royal Delft handles all HRM-related matters and payroll administration for approximately 100 employees.
As an intern, you will be fully integrated into the HR department. Your duties will focus on:
- Researching how vacancies can best be brought to attention;
- Supporting personnel administration and payroll administration;
- Helping to revise and structure the job classification system;
- Writing and optimizing job descriptions that align with our organization of today and tomorrow;
- Looking into collaborations with schools and educational institutions;
- Making proposals to further strengthen learning within the organization;
- Absence management in the context of the Gatekeeper Improvement Act (Wet Verbetering Poortwachter);
- Updating internal information documents such as (house) rules, performance review reports, organization charts, etc.
Who are you?
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in HRM;
- You are accurate, have strong communication skills, and enjoy structure;
- You enjoy contributing to policy, but also like being hands-on;
- You take initiative and are not afraid to come up with your own ideas;
- You are available for at least 5 months.
What do we offer you?
- A great position where no two weeks are ever the same;
- A unique working environment in a historic building;
- Free access to the Royal Delft Museum;
- A monthly hobby club where you can paint your own Delft Blue;
- An informal working atmosphere;
- Internship allowance: €380 per month based on 38 hours;
- A friendly team that will listen to you if you have a cool idea!
