Schiffmacher Royal Blue Tattoo is the result of a unique encounter between the world of tattooing and the age-old tradition of Delft Blue. Proud Mary is named after Mary II, the wife of Stadtholder William III and a great admirer and collector of Delft Blue in the Golden Age. Designed by Koens & Middelkoop, this figurine gives the heritage of Royal Delft a contemporary form. The design consists of four interchangeable elements: skirt, bodice, collar, and head. The ROYAL BLUE COLLECTION® – BLOOM Edition was born from a collaboration between interior designer Sabine Struycken and Royal Delft. The hand-shaped ceramic apples connect traditional Delft Blue with contemporary Dutch Design. Three decoration styles each give the collection its own character: Touch of Nature, Touch of Gold, and Royal Dots, the latter two of which are enriched with 24-carat gold.
