Delft Tiles

Delft Blue tiles were a display in the 17th century. With an increase in wealth, there was an increase in demand and the diversity increased too. Mostly, the Delft tiles were used to decorate fireplaces, kitchens and doors. The tiles were decorated with the scenes from everyday life. Ships, windmills, child play and animals were just a couple of the themes that were popular then, but also have a place in our handmade and hand painted collections nowadays.
